Biography
Born March 27, 1913 in Kremenchug in the family of an employee. In 1928 he graduated from the seven years in Kharkov and was employed at the depot . In 1933 he entered the Kharkov Mechanical Engineering Institute , which he graduated in 1938, after which he was hired by the Kharkov Turbine Generator Plant as an engineer. In 1941 he was mobilized into the army in connection with the beginning of the Second World War and sent to the Western Front , where he was given the military rank of senior lieutenant artillery. In 1942 he was seriously wounded and in the same year he was demobilized and went to Sverdlovsk . As a graduate of this institute, in 1935, in parallel with his studies, he began to engage in literary activities, and after a few years in screenwriting, he wrote a number of scripts for documentary films that were produced at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio , as well as several scenarios for feature films. As a prose writer, he wrote over 80 works [1] . At the beginning of his literary activity he wrote exclusively in Ukrainian.
Last years of life
Received during the Great Patriotic War severe injury affected his health, so he lived a short life.
He died in 1969.
