Biography
The son of Major General Alexander Wilhelmovich Tavastshern (1863-1930).
He graduated from the 1st Cadet Corps (1911) and the Pavlovsk Military School (1913), from where he was released as lieutenant to the 88th Petrovsky Infantry Regiment . On July 27, 1914, the 2nd Rifle Regiment was transferred to the Life Guards , in the ranks of which it entered the First World War . Manufactured on assignments July 17, 1916.
