Biography
Born on January 1, 1963 in the city of Almetyevsk of the Tatar ASSR.
He graduated from Kazan State University with a degree in geology and exploration for oil and gas fields in 1985, a postgraduate study at the Institute of Geology and Development of Combustible Minerals at the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1991, and a Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences.
1985-1986 - geologist of the Kolpashevskaya Oil and Gas Exploration Expedition (Tomsk Region).
1986-1987 - Engineer, Senior Engineer of the Search Geology Department of the TatNIPIneft Institute (Bugulma, Tatar ASSR).
1988–1994 - Junior Researcher, Researcher, Senior Researcher, Head of the Laboratory of the TatNIPIneft Institute.
1994–1995 - Head of the Laboratory of Geology, 1995–1999 - Deputy Director for Research, Head of the Department for New Methods and Intensification of Production at the UdmurtNIPIneft Institute (Izhevsk, Udmurt Republic).
1999–2000 - Minister of Fuel, Energy and Communications of the Udmurt Republic.
In 2000-2006 he served as deputy chairman of the government of the Udmurt Republic. From 2006 to 2008, he worked at OAO NK “RussNeft” as Vice President for Geology and Oil Field Development. In March 2008, he headed Gazpromneft Scientific-Technical Center LLC.
In February 2009, he joined Gazprom Neft OJSC for the post of head of the directorate for geology and development.
In 2011, he headed the Directorate for Exploration and Development of the resource base of JSC Gazprom Neft.
In 2012—2013 - Vice-President for Oil Production and Geology, OAO NGK Slavneft (MOEX: SLAV).
In 2013—2014 - President of LLC “Geoservice” Group of Companies, registered in Izhevsk.
