Biography
Born in 1904 in St. Petersburg. In 1924 he began his literary work, at the same time he was hired at TRAM , where he headed the literary department until 1926. In 1926 he entered the theater department of the Institute of Art History until 1929. In 1929 he was admitted to the Sovkino film studio as a full-time screenwriter, then he settled in the same position at the Soyuzkino film studio. In 1933 he returned to theatrical drama and wrote scripts for performances until his death.
He died in 1980.
