Biography
The father of Dmitry Pavlovich Elizarov was Pavel Pavlovich Elizarov [2] , who was born in 1891 in the village of Bestuzhevka of the Russian Empire, now the Privolzhsky district of the Kuibyshev region . He was a graduate of the Petrograd Electrotechnical Institute, and in 1930-1937 he supervised the construction of the Stalinogorsk GRES as a deputy. In the 1940s, he began teaching at the Moscow Energy Institute .
Dmitry Elizarov entered the Moscow Electrotechnical Institute in the Faculty of Thermal Engineering. In 1938, as a student, he met Leonty Ivanovich Kertselli , and in 1939, Professor Leonty Kerzelli began to lecture for the flow of his course. Leonty Ivanovich Kertselli was the head of his graduation project, and Dmitry Elizarov always remembered the leader as a kind and caring mentor and teacher [3] .
After receiving a diploma, he went to work in the city of Aleksin, Tula Region, to work at the CHP Plant No. 15 of Mosenergo. In December 1943, he returned to Moscow for the entrance exams to graduate school. Dmitry Elizarov noted that his mentor, Leonty Kertselli, also treated him very kindly during this period [3] . Later he worked in the dean's office of the heat engineering faculty as head of the course, at a time when the dean was L. I. Kertselli [4] and worked simultaneously with him in one of the departments of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute [5] .
He was the supervisor of the MEI Petr Svoik when he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences [6] .
Dmitry Elizarov is the author of the main university textbook on power boilers of the USSR [6] .
Awards
