Cypress , or Aspen ( Latin Onagraceae ) - a family of dicotyledonous plants. Grasses, sometimes shrubs and shrubs, rarely small trees. The flowers are solitary or in leafy (spike, racemose or paniculate) inflorescences, mostly regular and bisexual, usually four-membered, with a flower tube adhered to the ovary. The fruit is a box or nut-shaped, rarely - berry-shaped. About 20-24 genera, uniting over 640 species, mainly in temperate and subtropical regions; 6 genera are widely distributed in Russia ( fireweed , evening primrose , fuchsia , clarkia , etc.), including about 70 species; some of them are bred as decorative. In the still waters and swamps of tropical America, Jussieua repens grows, which has 3 types of roots: nourishing, swimming and respiratory.
