Biography

Received general education at home.

He entered military service on April 25, 1891. He graduated from the Tver Cavalry Junker School , from where he was released standard-junker in the 3rd Dragoon Sumy Regiment . November 9, 1894 he was promoted to cornet with the transfer to the 21st Dragoon Belarusian regiment [1] .

December 29, 1896 transferred to the newly formed 51st Dragoon Chernigov Regiment [2] . He was promoted to lieutenant on March 15, 1898 [3] , and to the staff captains on March 15, 1899 [4] . He participated in the Russian-Japanese war in the ranks of the 51st dragoon Chernigov regiment. For military distinctions he was awarded four orders, at the front he was promoted to captain (production approved by the Highest Order of March 30, 1905) [5] . For more than 5 years and 11 months he commanded a squadron . He was promoted to lieutenant colonel on July 30, 1910 [6] , and to colonel on May 6, 1914 for a vacancy [7] .

He entered the First World War in the ranks of the 17th Hussar Chernigov Regiment. Awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree

 Because on June 2, 1915, in the battle of Lyubachev, temporarily commanding the named regiment and receiving orders to support the retreating infantry with one squadron, he executed the order received, and then, having correctly assessed the situation, he led the rest of the squadrons, personally managing the actions of the entire regiment Despite the obvious danger and encouraging his subordinates by his example, quickly and skillfully building a battle formation on horseback, he threw himself at the enemy and inflicted a complete defeat on the upcoming 91st German Infantry Regiment. After this attack, our infantry went on the offensive and occupied its former trenches. 

On April 16, 1917, he was appointed commander of the 17th Hussar Chernigov Regiment, and on July 30 of the same year he was promoted to major general on the basis of the St. George Statute. He remained in the position of regiment commander until November 16, 1917. The further fate is unknown.
