History
Hali-Halo (historical: Helichelina, from the Greek. "Heli" - a turtle) - fun, known in ancient Greece [1] .
The game was that one girl - the "turtle" - answered the questions of friends who danced around her. This game of questions and answers has survived to the present day. In the XX century, it was known in Russia as a "hali-halo."
For the game needed a ball. The leader made a word, the players had to guess it. As soon as someone guessed the word, the host shouted “Hali-halo, catch him!”, Threw the ball aside as far as possible and fled. As soon as the player caught up and grabbed the ball, it was necessary to shout to the running host “Stop”, that one stopped, and the player had to guess how many steps / jumps, etc., he took these steps / jumps, stopped; the leader made a “ring” from the hands into which the player had to throw the ball. If he succeeded, he himself became the leader.
In Russia, the most common version of the hali-halo is similar to the bast and pillar . Its main features: runs, catching the ball, spotting the ball (running or stopped).
The game can be considered as developing, because it improves endurance, speed of reaction, dexterity, eye.
