Mrs. Vinegar and Mr. Vinegar

Mrs. Vinegar is a grumpy lady who does just that, expressing displeasure to everyone around her. Her husband, Mr. Vinegar, always agrees with his wife, telling her: “You are absolutely right, dear.” Once, she and her husband were invited to a fairy king's ball. On the way there, the Uksusov couple noticed a piper drowning in the river, but did not pull it out. At the ball, Mrs. Vinegar continues to make comments to everyone, but it turns out that there is no better piper at the ball. When they find him, the piper declares that he does not want to play, because he is very sad. Mrs. Vinegar resents such “selfishness” on his part. The winged messenger of the fairy king announces that the ball is being rescheduled, and everyone, except Mr. and Mrs. Vinegar, takes off to the moon.
