Career
At the junior level, he played for the club of the Quebec Major Hockey League “ Quebec Remparts ”. The NHL draft did not get out.
The first professional contract was signed with the New York Rangers pharmacy club in the AHL - Connecticut Whale . In the first season, he divided the first place among Connecticut scorers, gaining 64 points, and became the best passer, giving 40 assists.
After a successful season, he did not renew his contract with Connecticut and signed a 3-year contract with a newcomer to the NHL club Columbus Blue Jackets . In the 2012/13 season, speaking for the Columbus Farm Club - Springfield Falcons , he became part of the First Five AHL Stars. He made his debut in the NHL with the Blue Jackets on January 31, 2013 in a match against St. Louis Blues . On March 5, 2014, he was exchanged at Tampa Bay Lightning [1] .
April 11, 2015 scored his first points in the NHL, having thrown the puck into the goal of the Boston Bruins [2] . On June 28, 2015, he entered into a 1-year bilateral contract with Tampa [3] .
At the end of the contract, as an unlimited free agent, he signed a contract with Florida Panthers for a period of two years with a wage of $ 750 thousand per year [4] . He spent 75 matches in the regular season and scored 51 (30 + 21) points and became the team's best sniper of the season, and also took 2nd place in the Florida scorers list (only 1 point less than the team leader - Alexander Barkov ).
