The stadium was opened in 1949, belongs to the city of Brno. Earlier, the stadium hosted the finals of the Athletic Games, horse races, and city sports events were held every five years. In the early 60's at this stadium hosted home matches of FC Spartak Kralovo-Pole. In 2001, the first reconstruction of the stadium took place, which cost the city 110 million Czech crowns [1] . The total capacity was 12,550 seats, of which 1,550 were indoor, 6,400 were uncovered, 4,000 were standing and 600 were standing for the guests' fans. Also 50 seats reserved for journalists. In the fall of 2015, a roof was built over the western stand [2] .
Since 2001, the stadium has been the home arena of the Zbroevka club. In the 2013/14 season , newcomer Gambrinus of the Znojmo League also performed at the stadium.
