Biography

Born February 13, 1914 in the village of Balagachev. In 1930 he began his work in the field of social activities and worked until 1935. In 1935 he began his editorial work, working first in the editorial offices of newspapers, and then in the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR until 1938. In 1938 he moved to Moscow and entered the screenwriting department of VGIK , which he graduated in 1942. After graduating from VGIK, he moved to Almaty and devoted the rest of his life to this city, was deputy director and head of the scenario department of TsOKS , and also wrote scripts for cartoons and films. He worked as a researcher at the Department of Theater and Cinema of the Institute of Literature and Art.

He died on November 19, 1976 (according to other sources, in 1978) in Almaty.
