Biography
Born April 17, 1905 in St. Petersburg. In 1915 he entered the Petrograd Primary School , which he graduated in 1918, in 1918 he entered the Petrograd Electrical Technical School , which he graduated in 1919. In 1925 he entered the socio-political faculty of the Leningrad University of Workers, but after studying a year, he decided to transfer to the pedagogical department there, which he graduated in 1928, at the same time from 1927 to 1929 he studied scriptwriting courses at the Leningrad Academy of Arts, from 1930 to 1932 he studied at the graduate school there. In 1928, he temporarily worked at the Turkmenkino film studio, where he was in charge of the script department. In 1931 he entered as a staff screenwriter for the Belgoskino film studio . He mainly worked in the field of popular science cinema, writing over 100 scripts for both popular science films and feature films, of which 2 feature film scripts and 60 popular science film scripts were filmed.
