Andrei Yurievich Izmailov (born April 7, 1961 , Moscow ) is a Russian scientist, a specialist in mechanization, electrification and automation of agriculture. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013) and member of its Presidium , RAAS (2012), Doctor of Technical Sciences (2008). Since 2005, Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization - now (since 2016 [1] ) the Federal Scientific Agro-Engineering Center of VIM [2] .

Content
Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Engineering (1983). Then he went from assistant master to director (1996-2005) of the Machine-Building Plant of Experimental Structures. Since 2005, Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization. In 2016, on the basis of three institutes, VIM, VIESKH, GOSNITI, the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center of VIM was created, headed by A. Yu. Izmailov [1] .
The chief scientific editor of the "International Scientific Journal" [4] , a member of the editorial boards of the journals "Tractors and Agricultural Machines" [5] and "Gardening and Viticulture" [6] .
Doctoral dissertation - “Technical support of transport logistics in agricultural production technologies” (All-Russian Scientific Research Technological Institute for Repair and Maintenance of Machine and Tractor Park - GOSNITI).
He was awarded the gold medal “For Contribution to the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia” (2007).
Published over 300 scientific papers.
