Description
Vinni village is located 19 kilometers southeast of the volost center - the village of Payusti - and 20 kilometers southeast of the county center - the city of Rakvere. Height above sea level - 95 meters [6] .
In the village of Winnie are:
- Winnie-Payusti Gymnasium - began teaching work in 1988 and until 1994 it was called Winnie-Payuste High School. The school has 35 teachers and more than 360 students. The symbol of the school is Winnie the Pooh [7] .
- kindergarten "Tõruke" - began work in 1979 [8] .
- Winnie sports complex - in 2017, the Estonian Olympic Committee recognized the multifunctional sports center for the next 10 years [9] .

Attractions
In the vicinity of the village of Winnie and the neighboring village of Payusti there is an oak forest , which is part of the conservation area of Winnie-Payusti. Dubrava has a natural origin and arose 300-400 years ago. The area of the conservation zone is 92.7 hectares, the trees are up to 20 meters tall, the oldest oak is 320 centimeters in length, the current oaks are 250-270 years old. History
The name of the village is given by the name of the Winnie Manor , first mentioned in 1531 as Finn . The manor, in turn, got its name from the ancient village of Vitni , mentioned in 1241 and located west of it [13] .
In Soviet times , the village was the central manor of the Vinnitsa supporting and demonstrative state farm-technical school named after the XXV Congress of the CPSU .
In 1990-1995, in the village of Vinnie, Vinnie's volost house was located, then he moved to the neighboring village of Payusti . In the village is located Winnie Manor .
Historical fact
On the fields around the present village of Vinnie, on August 15, 1708, the last major battle of the Northern War took place on the mainland of Estonia [5] .
