The golden-striped froth [1] ( lat. Phylloscopus pulcher ) is a species of passerine bird from the family of warblers (Phylloscopidae) [2] . Previously included in the familial family.

Distributed in Bhutan , China , India , Laos , Myanmar , Nepal , Thailand , Vietnam . It lives in boreal and temperate forests. The range of the species is very wide and it is considered common in its habitat [3] .
Two subspecies are distinguished in the form [4] :
- Phylloscopus pulcher kangrae Ticehurst, 1923 is found in mountain rhododendron forests in the northwestern Himalayas;
- Phylloscopus pulcher pulses Blyth, 1845 distributed from Nepal to Tibet, in southwestern China and northern Myanmar, in winter - in northern Thailand.
