“ Strike Back: Retribution ” is the sixth season of the spy television series “ Strike Back ”, popular in the UK [1] . The season consists of ten episodes, was shown in the UK from October 2017 to February 2018, and in the United States from February to April 2018.

Story
As in previous seasons, the work of the fictional highly secret 20th section ( Section 20 ) of British military intelligence , engaged in covert power operations around the world, is shown. Some series are plot-related, some represent isolated stories.

Creation History
The season was a restart of the television series after a two-year break after the fifth season shown in 2015. Some of the main characters were replaced. Also, instead of the scheme of previous seasons with two partners in each series, a constant four agents were introduced, passing from series to series [1] .
In the fourth series of the season (shown in the UK on November 21, 2017, in the United States on February 23, 2018), heroes track down a fugitive Russian scientist Karim Markov, one of the inventors of the deadly nerve gas Novichok . A substance under the same name and similar properties has repeatedly appeared in the case of the poisoning of Sergei and Julia Skripaley .
