Born in Nizhny Novgorod.

He graduated from the Gorky Polytechnic Institute named after A. A. Zhdanov (1955).

From 1948 to 1990 he worked at the Gorky Scientific Research Institute of Radio Engineering (GNIIRT): designer, design engineer, leading engineer, department head, department head.

Deputy chief designer of the radar 5N69 and RTK 3-801. Creator of high-tech designs of powerful microwave devices. One of the initiators and participants in the development and serialization of powerful electronic vacuum devices used in radar transmitting devices.

Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1979). He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.
