Biography
Born on October 23, 1895 in the Perm province. In 1917 he graduated simultaneously from Kiev and Tomsk State Universities . He worked as a TB doctor in clinics of Krasnodar and Omsk. In 1928 he moved to Moscow and was hired at the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute named after N.I. Pirogov , where he held the position of teacher. In 1935 he created a scientific library at VIEM and managed it until 1948, and also taught medical bibliography at the Moscow State Library.
Died March 30, 1972 in Moscow. He was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to scientific and practical medicine, the history and organization of resorts in Siberia and the North Caucasus, as well as issues of social hygiene and the fight against tuberculosis. He is the author of over 200 scientific works, among which his capital work “Russian Medical Press” stands out.
