Founded in 1911 under the name "Regina College" under the patronage of the Methodist Church of Canada ( Eng. Methodist Church of Canada). Regina College back in 1925 established contacts with the University of Saskatchewan , and in 1934 it became part of the University of Saskatchewan .
Since 1974 - independent from the University of Saskatchewan . At the moment there are more than 12,000 students and researchers.
