Biography

A native of Newcastle upon Mystery , Curry began his football career at the local Scottswood club. In February 1908 he moved to Manchester United [4] . Due to the high competition from other midfielders, primarily Charlie Roberts [2] , he played mainly for the reserve team of the club . The main composition debuted on November 21, 1908 in a match against Bradford City [5] . In total, in the season 1908/09 he spent in the main part of 8 matches. The following season, he had only 1 game at the base: it was a FA Cup match against Burnley at the Turf Moore Stadium [6] . In the 1910/11 season, he played five matches in the first team [7] .

At the end of April 1911 he moved to Southampton , playing in the Southern League . Rarely fell into the main team, replacing [8] . After an unsuccessful season of 1911/12, in which he missed a lot of time due to injuries, he completed his professional career and returned to the northeast of England [9] , where he played for the West Stanley club [3] .
