Football career

Born in Barhead , Scotland . He played for the English clubs Hyer Broughton and Chitem Hill from Manchester . Then he played for Manchester City , but did not play a single game in the first team. In June 1908 he moved from City to Manchester United . He made his debut in the main team of United on April 3, 1909 in the match of the First Division against Wensday [2] . It was his only game in the first team in the 1908/09 season . In the 1909/10 season the following season, Quinn played another match in the United squad [3] , and left the team in the summer off-season, becoming a player in the Nelson club [4] . In the next two years he played for Nelson, Chorley and Eccles Borough. [1]

From 1912 to 1915 he played for Grimsby Town , playing for the team 62 matches and scoring 5 goals. Then he played for the Scottish clubs “ Clyde ” and “ Air United ” [1] .
