Biography
Born June 3, 1947 in Moscow. After graduating from high school, in 1966 he entered the Bauman Moscow State Technical University , which he graduated in 1971. The Baumanka administration retained the graduate, and after some time he developed the first in the USSR automatic library system BARS based on a personal computer , which was first put into practice in 1989, and also organized the training of library engineers in the specialty of Library Automated Systems. As of today, he still works at Bauman MSTU .
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to the informatization of library activities and the introduction of new PC technologies and the training of library personnel in all libraries in Moscow. The author of over 100 scientific papers.
- He introduced and disclosed the concept of information space in library management systems.
