Champion of Melbourne and the state of Victoria . Participant of the first Australian championships . Bronze medalist of the Australian Championship in 1888 (behind U. Crane and G. Charlick ). [1] Repeatedly participating in traditional telegraph matches between the teams of Victoria and New South Wales .
