Story

Carrie ( Claire Danes ), now convinced that lithium is no longer effective for her bipolar disorder, goes to her psychiatrist ( Sakin Jaffrey ) and gets a prescription for Seroquel . While she sleeps after the effect of her first dose, she is awakened by Dante ( Morgan Spector ), who has information about the woman in Wellington's house, whom Carrie asked about. Dante identifies her as Simon Martin ( Sandrine Holt ), who, among other things, has a romantic relationship with Wellington, and who received a parking ticket near the prison where McClendon was on the same day that he died. Carrie, still shaky, takes Adderall and goes with Dante to investigate.

Sol ( Mandy Patinkin ), accompanied by FBI officers, arrives in the Elkins area. In an effort to peacefully take O'Keefe ( Jake Weber ) into custody, Sol begins negotiations. O'Keefe apparently resigned to the arrest until Bo (David Maldonado) offers reinforcements. Later, several cars full of armed people arrive at the site, strengthening the zone and stopping any pretexts for negotiations. Armored vehicles arrive, while the FBI equips itself for a protracted confrontation.

While O'Keefe’s situation is deteriorating, Wellington ( Lainas Roach ) reopens the question that President Keen ( Elizabeth Marvel ) had previously rejected: airstrike on a convoy with weapons coming from Iran to Syria. Keen is offended by the idea of violating his position only to manipulate a new cycle, and again rejects the plan. That same night, when Keane is sleeping, Wellington calls General Rossen ( Fredrick Lena ) and deceives him, saying that Keane authorized the airstrike and gave permission to carry it out.

Carrie and Dante are following Simon Martin's house. When Simon leaves, Dante follows her, while Carrie bursts into her house. Carrie takes pictures of various objects and copies files from Simon's computer. However, Carrie is taken by police as someone saw her bursting into the house. At the police station, Carrie refuses to cooperate in any way, fearing that a felony note would jeopardize her custody of Franny. Ultimately, Dante appears and uses his connections to free Carrie.
