Natalya Alekseevna Meshcheryakova (born July 15, 1955 ) is a musicologist , singer, journalist [1] . Candidate of Art History [2] . Laureate of the international contest "South Star". Associate Professor, Department of Music History, Rostov Conservatory Rachmaninov . Honored Worker of the All-Russian Musical Society [3] . He teaches the history of music and solo singing at the Rostov Conservatory [4] .

Biography

Natalya Alekseevna Meshcheryakova was born on July 15, 1955 [1] . Her mother worked as an accompanist in the music and music-pedagogical schools of the city of Ordzhonikidze . Great-grandfather sang in the Court Singing Chapel, and his father's brother was a tenor. A cousin was also a singer. As a child, Natalia Meshcheryakova studied at a music school and graduated from it [4] .

In 1976, she graduated from the Murmansk College of Music. Then she entered the theoretical faculty of the Petrozavodsk branch of LOLGK, and continued her studies at the Russian State Medical Research Institute. Her teachers were Yu. G. Kon, L. A. Ryabikova, L. Ya. Khinchin , V. A. Yurchuk, B. I. Siterman. In 1981, she completed her studies at the Rostov Conservatory majoring in “Musicology” and remained working there. In 1984-1987, she studied at the graduate school at the Department of Musical Criticism of the LOLGK, its supervisor was L. G. Danko. In 1988, she defended her thesis on "The musical culture of the Don and Azov region according to the materials of the local press (1870-1917)." In 1992, she completed her studies at the Rostov State Conservatory with a degree in Solo Singing [1] .

Natalya Meshcheryakova is the author of scientific and educational works, which were published in collections of scientific conferences of cities such as Taganrog , Rostov-on-Don , Voronezh , Astrakhan , Donetsk , Moscow , Krasnoyarsk , Samara , Cheboksary , St. Petersburg , Petrozavodsk [1 ] .

In 1989, she became involved in music journalism. She was the author, host and editor of musical programs of the television and radio company "DON-TR". Among these projects are “Our Folk Traditions”, “The Musical Life of the Don”, “Jazz Panorama”, “Overture”, “The Music Room”, and “The Music Box” [1] .

Natalia Meshcheryakova collaborates with the international music center "Harmony", WMO. Since 1993, she became a member of the IC RF [1] .

Natalya Meshcheryakova took part in the performance of chamber operas, such as “The Countess D.'s Love in Letters and Poems” by A. Matevosyan, “Pockmarked Hen” by V. Khodosh. He gives concerts in the Palace of Alferaki , in the Music Salon of the Rostov Regional Museum of Local Lore on the Newspaper, in the halls of the Chekhov Gymnasium and the library named after A. P. Chekhov, who are in Taganrog [1] .

In 2003, her journalistic work was awarded a diploma of the II degree of the regional competition "For a series of programs to strengthen the friendship of the peoples of the North Caucasus", in 2012 she received thanks from the organizing committee of the radio festival "Voice of the Caucasus". In 2006, the Regional Administration awarded her the diploma “Person of the Year 2006” [1] .

Member of the board of the regional branch of the Union of Composers [3] . The range of Natalia Meshcheryakova is two and a half octaves. She is the owner of the soprano and mezzo-soprano [4] .

Lecturer at the Rostov State Conservatory [4] . He teaches such disciplines as pedagogical practice, specialty, chamber class, leadership of diploma essays, music journalism, history of performing styles, vocal teaching methodology, teaching methodology, history of vocal art, history of performing art, vocal creativity of Don composers, the basics of phoniatrics and voice apparatus, the history of musical and theatrical art, professional composing on the Don [5] .
