Biography
Lu Chao was born in 1988 in a military family. His parents loved music despite the severity of the profession. He began to learn to play the piano in China when he was four years old, while showing outstanding abilities. Lu Chao received his professional education at Anhui University, Professor Wu Ning Ning noted the extraordinary musicality and hard work of his student. His favorite composers are Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Sergey Vasilievich Rachmaninov .
In Kiev, he entered the R. M. Glier School of Music in 2004 [1] . Since 2006, Lu Chao studied at the P. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (class of L. P. Prudnikova) [1] and in the year of graduation from the Academy, Lu Chao was awarded the Grand Prix of four international competitions [1] .
Lu Chao returns to Anhui . He teaches at Anhui University of the Arts, combining university teaching and touring in China and abroad. To improve his skills and study Russian culture more deeply, he again leaves his hometown and leaves for Russia . Since 2015, Lu Chao has been an intern at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Professor Arkady Gavrilovich Sevidov [1] , People's Artist of the Russian Federation [2] . Lu Chao found in him a good adviser and high professional. Lu Chao talked about his teacher:
Meeting with Sevidov is a great happiness in my life. He not only taught me how to play, the main thing is that he taught me how to think about music [1] .
The pianist Lu Chao performed in Moscow and Samara . In December 2016, he took part in a concert in honor of the 100th birthday of Oleg Leonidovich Lundstrem [3] . Accompanied by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Lu Chao conquered the Chinese audience with his performance of the First Concert of P.I. Tchaikovsky in January 2017 .

He is a very talented guy. He plays at a European level. He subtly feels Tchaikovsky's music! It seemed that our Slavic performer was sitting at the keyboard. Lu Chao was shocked not only by high technology, but also by depth, by his finds. The first Tchaikovsky concert, which is very often played and in which it is difficult to find something new, in his performance received new colors [1] .
