Reina Nurmanbetovna Chokoeva (born July 13, 1938 , the village of Uch-Terek, Uch-Terek district, Jalal-Abad region , now Osh region ) is a Soviet ballet dancer. People's Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR ( 1967 ), Professor ( 2003 ). Laureate of the USSR State Prize ( 1976 ).

Biography
Reina Nurmanbetovna Chokoeva was born on July 13, 1938 in a large family of a party worker. In 1947, her father died, the mother was left with six children.
Since 1956, at the end of the Leningrad School of Choreography (now the A. Ya. Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet ) (teacher M. B. Strakhova), Reina Nurmanbetovna worked in the troupe of the Frunze Theater (now the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Muldybaev). She performed at the ballet festival in Havana, danced on stages in Italy, Syria, Canada, Romania, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Denmark, Mongolia.
January 1, 1980 was appointed director of the Frunze Choreographic School. Left the post in 1986. Since 1985, she studied at GITIS . Lunacharsky at the ballet faculty. Since 1990, after graduating from GITIS, I got a job as a teacher - choreographer at the Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theater. From 1995 to 2008 she worked as the director of the Bishkek Choreographic School.

She danced in the parties: Tolgonay (Moldobasanova's “Mother Field”), Cholpon (Rauchwerger's “Cholpon”), Zeynep (“Kuyruchuk” of Moldobasanov and Okunev), Aurora, Laurencia, Maria, Kitri, Phrygia, Mehmene Banu, Nikiya; Love and Life (“Immortality” by Nurymov), Assel (“Assel” by Vlasov), Sari (“The Path of Thunder”), etc.
