Career
Renee began to study at the Maribor youth academy before joining the first team. In total, Rene played 134 matches in the championship and scored 19 goals. In 2010, Michelich moved to the Portuguese Nacional team , for which he played for three years. But he did not become the main player in the club, having been on lease in the Bulgarian “Levski” with the right to buy out (which the club did not use), and then, in the same year, finally left Portugal.
Michelic made his debut for the main national team of Slovenia when he was 19 years old, one month and 17 days old, making him the youngest player to ever play for the national team. In addition, Rene was also a player in the youth and youth teams of Slovenia, for which he played more than thirty games in total [1] .
