Biography
Born on January 7, 1912 in the city of Baku, Baku province (now the capital of Azerbaijan).
Member of World War II. He served as a sergeant in the 25th howitzer artillery brigade. Participated in the capture of Budapest .
Since 1930 - a worker, since 1946 - a collector of forms of a machine-building plant named after Lieutenant Schmidt. Since 1968 - master of the design and technological company "Innovator" at the Azerbaijan Union of Right Forces. He excelled in completing the seven-year plan .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 25, 1966 , for outstanding achievements in fulfilling the seven-year plan tasks, high quality of products and innovative work, Melikov Mamed-Pasha Mammad-Huseyn oglu was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ".
He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1944 .
