Biography
Born in Krasnodar. He graduated from the Kuban University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism . He started his coaching work in 2005, while still a student - he worked as a youth trainer at the training center of FC Krasnodar-2000 reserve. After the dissolution of the club, he moved to FC Krasnodar , where he coached the teams born in 2000 and 1999. With the latter, in 2016 he won the championship of Russia in older adolescence, and then the RFU Cup [1] . Then he headed the youth team of Russia under 18 for three matches - at a tournament in France the team beat Uruguay, Romania and tied with the hosts. According to Nikolai Pisarev , “Krasnodar” by that time had become the base club of the youth team of Russia [2] .
In 2016, Musaev began to lead the club’s youth team. In the first season, she finished sixth in the championship, in the second season - at the time of Musaev's appointment - she went first. The team set a performance record - in 2017, 117 goals were scored in 37 matches. The team also successfully performed in the UEFA Youth League , losing to their peers from Real Madrid only in the penalty shootout [2] .
In the spring of 2018, after the dismissal of Igor Shalimov, he was appointed acting head coach of the main team [1] . He made his debut in the Premier League on April 7, 2018, winning the away match against St. Petersburg Zenit 2: 1 in the first match [3] . Later, Oleg Fomenko became the head coach de jure , Musaev became the head coach due to the lack of a PRO license that allows coaching the Premier League clubs.
