Biography
February 22, 1908 was born in Orenburg in the family of Nikolay Pavlinov (hereditary nobleman) and Barmina Antonina Ivanovna [3] . Next, the dates are the main milestones of the biography:
- In 1932 he graduated from the Moscow Polytechnic Institute . In the same year he was appointed head of the graduate school of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute and deputy head of the Research Department (NIS) of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute.
- From 1935 to 1941 - Head of the Crimean Geological Practice of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute.
- In 1936 he defended his thesis.
- From 1940 to 1943 - Dean of the Geological and Hydrogeological Faculty of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute in the city of Semipalatinsk . He was also authorized to re-evacuate the Moscow Polytechnic Institute from Semipalatinsk to Moscow.
- From July to September 1941 - participated in the creation of defensive lines on the left banks of the river. Gums, Ugra and Osma and near the town of Yelnya .
- From 1942 to 1943 and 1964 to 1974, he was the head of the Department of General Geology and Geological Mapping of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute.
- Since 1946, the head of the NIS MGRI.
- In January 1948, he was appointed deputy director of the scientific department of the Moscow Institute of Mathematics.
- From 1948 to 1966 - member of the expert commission of the Higher Attestation Commission of the USSR.
- On July 2, 1948 he defended his doctoral dissertation.
- From 1950 to 1961 - Deputy Chairman of the Expert Commission of the Higher Attestation Commission of the USSR.
- From 1951 to 1960 and from 1968 to 1970 - Dean of the Geological Prospecting Department of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute.
- February 25, 1953 was elected deputy of the Krasnopresnensky district council of deputies of workers of Moscow.
- From 1953 to 1956 - Senior Advisor to the Beijing Geological Prospecting Institute.
- From March 1962 to July 1964 he was rector of the Moscow Polytechnic Institute.
- From 1963 to 1990 - member of the section of the Committee on Lenin and State Prizes of the USSR under the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
- In 1972, V. N. Pavlinov was awarded the title "Honored Geologist of the RSFSR" (from 13.07.1972).
- In 1978, he was awarded the title of “Discoverer of the deposit” for the discovery of the Goltsovskiy rare - metal complex deposit in the Irkutsk region (from 03.22.1978).
- In 1980, he was awarded the VDNKh silver medal for work in the field of gas-fluid permeability of the earth's crust associated with rift zones and deep faults .
Pavlinov V.N. was the author of 240 publications, among them 20 textbooks and teaching aids. He compiled 20 geological maps. Valentin Nikolaevich wrote a number of scenarios for educational geological films. On the basis of his scripts, the Kievnauchfilm studio shot about 20 films [3] .
