Biography
Robucci, also known as Nonna Peppa, was born in Italy in 1903 . The parents of the centenarians were Antonio and Maria Michela Robucci. On December 3, 1928, she married Nicola Nargiso. The couple had five children: Angelo, Concetta (who later became a nun named Sister Nicoletta), Antonio, Giuseppe and Filomena.
In the years after World War II , the Nardzhizo family experienced economic difficulties.
Robucci became a widow in 1982 , after the death of Nicola. In 2003, the television show "La vita in diretta" by Rai Uno showed her centenary. At the age of 100, she could still chop wood .
In 2014, Maria Robucci-Nargisio fell unsuccessfully, breaking her hip, and then underwent surgery. As of 2015 , her son Angelo was still alive at the age of 86. She believed that optimism, faith in God and diet made her a longevity.
Died on June 18, 2019 at the age of 116 years, 90 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Italy and the second in the world. She lived in Apricen , Italy .
