Biography
Born in Venice on November 28, 1865 .
In 1890 he was appointed assistant at the Botanical Garden of Padua . Since 1897 - professor of natural history at Melfi Technical College.
In collaboration with Adriano Fiori prepared a four-volume monograph of the flora of Italy, as well as a collection of illustrations for it. He participated in the writing of sections on underground ascomycetes ( Tuberaceae , Elaphomycetaceae ) for the fundamental summary of the Sylloge fungorum of Pierre Andrea Saccardo .
Herbarium transferred to the University of Padua (PAD).
Died April 27, 1941 in Venice.
