Biography

Born in Italy , adopted French citizenship in 1929. From that moment he began to actively participate in competitions. The main sporting achievement in the international arena is 2nd place in the tournament in Nice in 1937 (after the world champion A. A. Alekhin ; the game between them ended in a draw).

As part of the French team, he participated in the official and unofficial chess Olympiads , Clara Benedict Cup , as well as in several international matches. Later he played for the team of Monaco . As part of this team, he also participated in the chess Olympiad.
