Sasso Ruffo ( Italian. Sasso Ruffo ) is a faded Neapolitan ducal clan, a branch of the House of Ruffo di Bagnara, which in turn is a branch of the House of Ruffo . He had close ties with Russia.

It comes from Don Fabrizio Ruffo, the fifth son of Don Girolamo Ruffo, Prince di Spinozo, Neapolitan patrician, Knight of the Constantine Order of Saint George , Chamberlain of the King of Both Sicilies (Don Girolamo detto Principe di Spinoso, Patrizio Nto-Centan de Chentre-Centsclingo, Jr.) di Camera del Re delle Due Sicilie (born February 11, 1814, Palermo, d. 07/23/1888, Naples)) and his first wife (April 28, 1838, Naples) donna Elena Filomarino (born February 17, 1820) Naples, dated 04.25.1854, in the sea on the way from Naples to Marseille). Don Fabrizio was the fifteenth cousin of the father of Queen Paola of Belgium .
