Biography
Born March 1, 1949 in Canada. After graduating from high school, one after another he entered three universities - West Ontario, Carleton and Toronto. At Western Ontario, he taught cataloging and worked until 1978. In 1978, he was recruited to the University of Ottawa , where he was elected to the post of director of technical services, he held this position until 1984. In 1984, he was appointed senior coordinator for standards in the same place and worked until 1992. In 1992, he was elected director of the cataloging department, but after working less than a year, he left this position. In 1993, he was appointed responsible for national library and information programs.
