Stanislav Stepanovich Litvinov (July 7, 1946, Altai Territory - April 2, 2018) - Russian scientist in the field of vegetable growing, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013), RAAS (1999), doctor of agricultural sciences (1995), professor (2004). Biography
Born in with. Black Kurya of the Mamontovsky region of the Altai Territory. He graduated from the Altai Agricultural Institute (1967).
- 1967-1969 - Junior Researcher, West Siberian Vegetable and Potato Selection Experimental Station, Research Institute of Vegetable Economy (NIIOKh).
- 1969-1972 - graduate student of the Scientific Research Institute of Industrial Sciences,
- 1972-1983 - Deputy Director for Research of the West Siberian Vegetable and Potato Selection Experimental Station,
- 1983-1987 - Director of the Biryuchekutsky vegetable selection experimental station NIIOKh,
- 1987-1995 - Deputy Director General for Research at the Russian Vegetable Production NGO.
- Director (1995-2015), since 2015, Scientific Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Growing.
Held the editorial board of the journal "Potato and Vegetables" [1] .
One of the developers of specialized crop rotation: vegetable feed with the inclusion of perennial grasses 1-2 years of use; vegetable - with clean and busy vapors; intense vegetable; vegetable - for humus-poor soils; vegetables - for farms with saturation of cabbage up to 50%, tomato and cucumber up to 25%, carrots and onions up to 50%. Developer of models for processing chernozem soils, doses of mineral fertilizers, optimal plant stand density in relation to irrigated vegetable growing.
He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1986), the Order of Friendship (1999). Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2003). Honored Agronomist of the RSFSR (1982).
He is the author of more than 150 scientific works, including 30 books and brochures, of which 12 are monographs. Received 16 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
