Kazanla is a village in the Bazarno-Karabulak district of the Saratov region of the Russian Federation , part of the settlements of the Khvatovsk municipal union [1] .

Geography
The village of Kazanla is located in the Bazarno-Karabulak district , 18 km to the Northeast of the Bazarny Karabulak district center and 80 km from the city of Saratov on the banks of the Kazanla river , a tributary of the Tereshka River of the Nizhnevolzhsky basin.
Population
According to the 2010 census, 1041 people lived in the village of Kazanla, including 496 men and 545 women.
History
The founders of the settlement are considered to be immigrants in the amount of seven people from Kazan province, now the territory of the Republic of Chuvashia. The founders named their village in honor and memory of the city of Kazan, since they wanted to be built according to Kazansky (Kazanla - “la” corresponds to the prefix “in”) [2] .
The village is considered "Chuvash".
An analysis of historical events and archaeological research in this area shows that the village originated at the turn from 1600 to 1649, but no later than 1650. Thus, the modern generation of residents celebrates the date of the formation of the village of Kazanla - 1650.
The Chuvash population was baptized in 1746.
The school appeared in the village in 1873 and operates to this day, albeit in a new modern two-story building.
According to reference books for 1912, 4300 people lived in the village.
In 1930, collectivization took place, in Kazanla two kolkhozes were formed - the “Paris Commune” and the “Red National”.
Infrastructure
Currently, representatives of the Chuvash, Tatar and Russian nationalities live in Kazanla [3] .
The territory has a secondary school [4] , a cultural center, a library, a rural museum, a church [5] , and a post office.
The village is connected by an asphalt road with regional and district centers and neighboring villages, a bus service [6] . The village is gasified, electrified and telephones.
