The husband of the writer Helena Bogushevskaya .

In 1932-1933 he worked as an editor of the weekly Epoka. Democratic writers Gelena Bogushevskaya, Jerzy Kornatsky, Adolf Rudnitsky and others in the 1930s created the democratic literary association "Suburb" (named after Bogushevskaya's book "Suburb"), which lasted until the fall of 1939. It included realist writers, their heroes were workers, their theme is modernity.

In 1944-1945 he lived in Lublin . During this period he was a deputy of the Regional Council of the People’s . Since 1945 - in Warsaw.

He was buried in the Calvinist cemetery of Warsaw .

He made his debut as a prose writer in the magazine "Kobieta Współczesna" in 1931.

Some works were written by him in collaboration with his wife Gelena Bogushevskaya . He portrayed the life of the urban poor, workers and the unemployed. Poverty of the people and adventurism of the upper echelons are reflected in the novel Polonaise, co-written with Bogushevskaya: a novel about the bankruptcy of the Pilsudski dictatorship.

The author of the screenplays "People of the Wisla" ("Ludzie Wisly", 1938 based on the novel "Wisla") ^[1] .
