The Iranian Society of Robotics ( Pers. انجمن رباتیک ایران ) is one of the organizations reporting to the Council of Scientific Societies of Iran, acting under the auspices of the Ministry of Science.
Primary Tasks
Promotion of scientific and practical research at the national and international levels in the framework of cooperation between researchers and specialists, one way or another connected with robotics, through cooperation with executive authorities, as well as research institutions in the field of evaluation, revision and implementation of educational, research and technological projects and programs related to the scientific topics of the Company. The provision of services in the field of education and research, as well as advice on engineering in the field of robotics. Preparation and publication of books on the scientific topics of the Company, the creation of relevant standards, the presentation of scientific periodicals of various levels (general information, specialized data, information for young people, youth, etc.). Carrying out the necessary research, supporting the development of applied robotics in industrial and service organizations and centers. Encouragement and assistance in the creation of student branches of the Society at universities and institutions of universal higher education, as well as free and non-profit universities. Conducting scientific seminars, symposia and competitions, etc. at the national, regional and international levels, aimed at improving knowledge and skills, as well as increasing the creative potential of participants. Encouragement and celebration of outstanding researchers, artisans and craftsmen, one way or another dealing with scientific or practical robotics. Creating a favorable and sincere environment for the exchange of knowledge and skills between members of the Society. Help to expand job opportunities at a higher level. Strengthening the creative spirit in the members of the Society, as well as helping to increase the level of trust, authority, respect and dignity of researchers and specialists among the audience addressed by the Society.
Perspective
Creation of a channel at the national and international levels for cooperation and the exchange of scientific and technical information between masters and theorists, managers and workers in industry and commerce, specialists, students, as well as all interested parties who are somehow involved in the theory and practice of robotics, so that : 1) membership in the Company of individuals and legal entities of the country involved in this field of activity, especially students, was considered not only honorable, but also mandatory; 2) the benefits of membership in the Company were obvious; 3) the achievements of the Company in improving the level of knowledge and practical skills could not be denied; 4) the authority of the Company did not raise any doubts; 5) official government bodies considered the Company a trustworthy authoritative institution in the field of its activities; 6) the relevant industry promoted the values and attitudes of the Company; 7) the increase in the level of professional skills of the collective life and activity among the members of the Society was evident.
