Eriksen, Helga Gunerius

Helga Gunerius Eriksen was born on October 11, 1950 in the Norwegian city of Stavanger.

Her literary debut took place in 1986 with the publication of the children's book PÅ stripejakt . Among her other children's works: Båten i treet of the 1988 edition, Vi kjem frå havet, published in 1998, and Flugepapir - the 2003 edition. For these works she was awarded the Norwegian annual literary prize Braga , awarded by the Norwegian Book Prize Fund in conjunction with the Association of Norwegian Publishers for the best published works of Norwegian literature of the past year.

Helga Gunerius Eriksen is also the author of the novel Rut , published in 2002 ^[1] . To date, she has written 25 books, including photobooks, novels, poetic works for children and youth, drama, etc. She herself illustrates part of her books.

In 1991, Helga Gunerius Eriksen was awarded the Finnish Inga Association of Norwegian Critics Prize ^[2] .
