Biography
Born on June 18, 1936 in Poltava . In 1960 he graduated from the mine construction department of the Kharkov Mining Institute. In 1961–1963, he worked as a topographer at the Poltava Geophysical Expedition, a researcher at the Poltava Gravimetric Observatory of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR .
Candidate dissertation "Physical and geodetic methods of monitoring the movements of the earth's surface" was defended in 1965. In 1966-1969 he studied at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Dnepropetrovsk University . In 1966-1969 - assistant at the Kiev Institute of Civil Engineering , associate professor of the Dnipropetrovsk Civil Engineering Institute [1] . In 1969-1971, he was a senior researcher at the Research Institute of Building Structures of the USSR State Construction Committee , head of the surveying and cartographic department of PJSC Ukrnafta . In 1971–1995, he worked at the Kiev University as a senior, leading and chief research associate in the research unit. Since 1989 - Doctor of Technical Sciences, since 1990 - Professor. In 1991-1995 he headed the department of geodesy and cartography. He worked actively in the commission for the examination of buildings of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra .
Scope of scientific research: engineering geodesy and cartography, in particular the study of geodynamic processes, mathematical processing of the results of geodetic measurements [2] . He is the author of about 60 scientific and methodological works, six monographs, five textbooks, and textbooks. Prepared one candidate of science.
