Geography

The village is located on the banks of the Ilevna River, 10 km south from the center of the village of Kovarditsy and 7 km southwest of Murom .

History

The village was first mentioned in the salary books of the Ryazan diocese of 1676 as part of the Lazarevsky parish , it had 4 peasant yards [2] .

At the end of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries, the village was part of the Karacharovsky volost of the Murom district , since 1926 - as part of the Murom volost . In 1859 [3] there were 7 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 22 yards, in 1926 [5] - 53 yards.

Since 1929, the village was part of the Cheremisensky village council of the Murom region , since 1940 - as part of the Podbolotsky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Kovarditsky rural settlement .
