Biography
In childhood, in addition to football, he practiced judo . Pupil of the Tartu Football School ("Tartu Yalgpallikool"). In the 1997/98 season, he began to play for the senior school team in the lower divisions of the Estonian championship. In 2000, he played in the first league for Lella.
In 2001, he returned to Tartu and began to play for Tammeka . In the first season, he became the winner of the zonal tournament of the second league and his top scorer with 20 goals. In 2003, he took second place in the first league scorers dispute with 20 goals, and in 2004 he won the first league tournament with his club. Then, for four seasons, he played for Tammeka in the top division of Estonia , was the main striker and captain of the club. In 2008 he became a finalist of the Estonian Cup .
In the spring of 2009 he played for Trans , scored one goal in 13 matches and left the team in May. Then he played in futsal competitions , and since 2010 he played at the amateur level for the club “Luunya”.
In 2011-2012, he worked as the head coach of Tammeki . In 2011, the team took seventh place among 10 participants, and in 2012 - the last, but Tiyrik left the post of coach in the middle of the season. At the same time, he resumed his career as a player and played for his club until 2016.
During the playing career he entered the board of Tammeki and at one time served as president. He also worked as an assistant to the head coach and led the club’s youth teams.
In total for “Tammeku” he played 373 matches in all divisions and scored 140 goals. In the Premier League, Tammeki and Trans played 293 matches and scored 79 goals.
In 2017, he was a candidate for local elections from the Reform Party [1] .
