LG Hockey Games 2009 were held from February 5 to 8, 2009 in Stockholm at the Globe Arena and were the third stage of Euro Hockey . The match Czech Republic - Finland was held in the Czech Republic on February 5, 2009 at the O2 Arena . All the coaches of the participating teams considered this tournament as preparation for the upcoming World Cup and brought together the strongest players. For various reasons, such stars as Swede Peter Forsberg and Czech Jaromir Jagr did not come to the Games. The Swedish national team did not lose a single match and won the trophy.
