History

The Russian film company, established in 2007 as a small independent production studio, is one of the leaders in the Russian television game content market. Each year, the studio produces more than 250 hours of films and television series , which are popular with viewers not only in Russia but also in Ukraine , Kazakhstan , Belarus and other countries of the former USSR in television broadcasts and on the Internet . At the moment, the company’s library has more than 500 projects.

Starting with melodrama , in recent years Russkoe has significantly expanded the range of genres . The company's portfolio includes historical and social dramas , detective stories and comedies .

The first project of "Russian" in 2007 was the film "Varenka". The story of a young provincial girl who goes to Moscow in search of happiness was a huge success in Russia and was continued in new seasons. Since then, the main client of the film company has become the television channel Russia 1 .

The general producer of the film company is Irina Smirnova .

At the end of June 2018, the film company joined the Association of Film and Television Producers ^[1] .

In 2016, the film company began production of series for the Russian television channels STS and NTV .

Leading European studios Warner Bros. and DoriMedia and Baltmedia are partners in the manufacturing company. So, in 2012 , in collaboration with Warner Bros. "Russian" released an adapted version of the American detective Without a Trace ( Without a trace ). In 2016, the Russia-1 channel released the series Blind Date in the DoriMedia format Ciega a Citas.
