Kharon Adievich Amerkhanov (born August 4, 1951, Kazakhstan) is a Russian economic and agricultural scientist, statesman of the Chechen Republic, a specialist in breeding, selection and genetics of farm animals, as well as livestock production technology. Biography
Born in with. Zenkovke Novo-Pokrovsky district of the Semipalatinsk region of the Kazakh SSR. He began his career in 1967 as a worker of a sheep farm in the Stavropol Territory. He graduated from Kabardino-Balkarian State University (scientific livestock specialist, 1973), where he studied from 1968, after which he worked successively in the Stavropol Territory as a livestock specialist (until 1974), at the Chechen-Ingush State Agricultural Experimental Station (until 1977, in particular, was a junior research assistant , grew up to the head of the livestock laboratory), chief livestock specialist of the collective farm "Soviet Russia" of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (until 1979). After graduate school at the All-Union Agricultural Institute of Correspondence Education in Balashikha (1979-1982), again at the Chechen-Ingush State Agricultural Experimental Station - the main livestock specialist of the Gikalovsky experimental production farm (until 1985). He also graduated from the Kabardino-Balkarian Agricultural Reclamation Institute (scientist agronomist-economist, 1982).
In 1985-1993 in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, he reached the post of Deputy Minister for Livestock and Veterinary Medicine. In 1993-1994. Director of the Republican Association "Zagotpromtorg" in Grozny. In 1994-1996 Minister of Economics and Finance (until 1995), First Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Security of the City Hall of Grozny in 1995, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic (1995-1996).
From 1997 to 2004, and again from 2008, he worked as Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia , which he headed in May 2016.
