Biography
Born in 1939 in the city of Lahore . His father was the manager of a small seed shop "Kisan & company", which later became a large company. [2]
He was educated at the Rang Mahal Mission High School and the Muslim Model High School in Lahore. [3] Further continued his studies at Lahore Government College and in London . [3] In 1958, he attended the World Youth Festival in Moscow , about which he wrote a book called "Fakhta" (Pigeon). [3] [4]
He has written over 50 books, including novels and short story books in his career. [5] His first book was titled "Nikley Teri Talaash Main (1970)," and was dedicated to his younger brother Mobashir Hussein Tarari. In 1971 he wrote about a trip to Europe. This was preceded by a period during which he visited 17 European countries. [5]
He also worked as a presenter on the television channel PTV (Pakistan Television English)), where he hosted the morning live show "Subah Bakhair" (1988) (Good morning). [1] His programs were intended primarily for children, and he was one of the most popular presenters for them. He called himself "chacha jee" (paternal uncle) of all Pakistani children and soon became known by that name.
Tarar was actively keen on climbing. Among his achievements is the conquest of Mount K2 and the Chitti Buoi Glacier Glacier. [3]

Throughout his long career, he has been a columnist for newspapers and a journalist for Pakistani newspapers such as Dawn, the daily Aaj, and wrote a weekly column for Akhbar-e-Jahan . [6]
