Shchiptsovo (Yaroslavl region)

Shchiptsovo is a village in the Yaroslavl region of the Yaroslavl region. It is part of the Tunoshensky rural settlement . Located on the banks of the Shaksha River, seventeen kilometers from Yaroslavl. The village runs the railway line Yaroslavl- Nerekhta , the nearest station is Lyutovo .

Ivan Fedorovich Petrov was born (1897-1994) - in the future lieutenant general of aviation (1942), the first rector of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology [3] .
